Testimonials

I made Aliyah from Buenos Aires (Argentina) 5 months ago. Until my arrival, I was working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where I was truly succeeding as an Analyst on International Affairs.
I decided to move to Israel to pursue a career in a more competitive and challenging environment. As an Olah Chadasha, coming to Israel was a great cultural challenge, and Gvahim was there for me at all times. It wasn’t only two months of course and accompaniment, but my HR consultant was there for me at all times and for the rest of the months helping to prepare myself for the interviews, identifying the best job opportunities for my professional profile, and giving me the confidence to keep trying. Once I got the job, she even helped me reading the contract, which was in Hebrew! Without her, I wouldn’t have made it!

Being in Israel for 4 years and having previous experience with our own business, my EdTech startup Storytoons chose to enroll in the Gvahim Entrepreneurship Center (GEC).
The 5-week program gave us an important observation of how to move forward and equipped us with valuable tools. The program is well-structured and pushes for improvement. After graduation, we have an action plan and are able to use the recommended resources to proceed.
In addition to mentorship, we met experts from the most needed areas: negotiation, tax, law, marketing, etc., and received access to the Gvahim network.
The GEC program drilled us in startup culture with its terminology, slang, trends, real case studies, relevant consulting, “future- mistakes-avoidance,” forward-thinking, and more! Simply great to have all the above, strongly recommend it to newcomers!

I made Alyah approximately two years ago from São Paulo. During high school, I create an Instagram channel about animals, especially dogs. Companies and brands reached out and offering partnerships, and this all started to become a business (or influencer).
When I first arrived in Israel, I know that the biggest obstacle would be the language, Hebrew I didn’t have at all, and my English isn’t my mother tongue. Although I had a huge experience with Social Media & Influencer Marketing.
A Brazilian mentor at Gvahim suggested I do the course. It was a pleasure to learn from leaders in technology, entrepreneur, self-care, and more. After a few days, I started to work on a small startup.
A few months ago, I joined Tonara, a music education company, as a Social Media Manager. I love what I do!

The opportunity to do mock technical interviews was what really interested me in the program. Since this was my first-time job searching in Israel, I wanted to get practice and be prepared for how interviews work here.
Gvahim Tech also supported me through my job search. I ended up applying for my position at Mobileye through one of the webinar presenters for Gvahim Tech. I connected with him on LinkedIn after his session, and he referred me for the position I was interested in as an employee at the company.
Throughout the 2-month interview process, I met with my mentors multiple times and discussed the next steps and what to be prepared for. They helped make me feel better prepared and more confident in my ability to get the job I wanted. It was reassuring that my mentors were olim like me and had gone through the same things I was going through and were now having successful careers here.

Gvahim Tech provided the resources and support necessary to enable me to acclimate to the job market and culture in Israel. Gvahim Tech has been there for me, from interview simulations to network events to hands-on resume reviews and more. And it’s not over once you get a job – the Gvahim Tech community is forever!

Great preparation for experienced professionals before moving to Israel. I understood the job market, the network culture and how to find suitable positions based on my experience and skillset. I applied what I learned, narrowed my search and found a great job!

Gvahim helped our startup to get the required knowledge and focus on what matters the most for making a business successful: Validating the needs, getting funds, navigating with numbers, and marketing our product. Thanks to the help of Gvahim’s experts, our team now has the skills to complete all the required milestones in order to get to the top. Special thanks to GEC staff who kept us on track during the whole program.

With a master’s degree recognized and sought by companies, I thought that finding a job in Israel would be a formality. It was not the case. The labor market is different here, in its structure and demand. During the training with Gvahim Tech, I gradually understood what was wrong with my approach. Less than a month later, I was doing interviews that I did not have access to before.”

I arrive in April, 2019. I got a job at the Embassy of Portugal in Tel Aviv. It was a selective process. I discovered it by searching the embassies on the site… I just need to get a house and settle things. You’re part of all this change, thank you

I want to thank you for your constant concern for the participants, not just me, but all of us, and to your contribution to a fluid Israeli job market, that can absorb Olim Hadashim in the most harmonious way! Great be your contribution at all times! Am Israel Hai.

Having experience in Software development before I made Aliyah, I thought getting a job in Israel would be a cakewalk.
Only after being in search for 4 months and not even one interview call, I realized something wasn’t right.
Luckily, for me, I came across Gvahim Tech. Their mentors and consultants helped me with my CV, which was one of the main reasons for not getting any calls.
Within 2 months of working closely with Gvahim, I was able to find a job to my liking. Gvahim Tech is doing a wonderful job for Olim’s through their great alumni network.

We took part in the Gvahim Business Acceleration Program during April-May 2021, and it was a very insightful and crucial time for our startup.
Revital and other speakers managed to squeeze a lot of interesting and useful content into the five weeks. This was a very intense and meticulous program.
Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to Revital for her impact. She helped us adjust and articulate the startup strategy, investment materials, and pitch deck and supported us during the very early days when you usually hear many types of “no”. I highly recommend startup founders to apply to the program.

I would like to share my experience with everyone in Israel looking for your next job during these challenging times!!! I lost my job at the beginning of May this year. Although my CV and experience were really good, I wasn’t getting any responses. Then, I remembered a friend telling me about Gvahim many years ago, and I decided it was time to join.
I joined the program on June 4th and started my new role on August 17th!! Considering today’s Israeli job market, it is a miracle, and I will be forever grateful to Gvahim!!! Not only will you be provided with a lot of beneficial information about the Israeli job market, but an HR consultant will guide you through the process and give you incredible support along the way!!!

In one word – AMAZING! After 15 years of living in Europe, returninh to Israel was very complicated and had a lot of ups and downs, until I met the GEC program and the person that is leading it, Revital Rauchwerger.
Revital helped me and my venture to be more focused on what I really need to do in order to succeed.

I made Aliyah 2 years ago from New Jersey. I was an audio Engineer and I wanted to switch into a career in programming so I studied web development and then I found Gvahim.
They were very helpful only after couple of months I got an interview in Amdocs and now I am working here.

I highly recommended the Gvahim Entrepreneurship Center (GEC)!
When we started the program we were getting ready to start our first important steps as a company and thanks to Revital Rauchwerger, we received the best guidance from lots of professionals. I always will be thankful for everything you have done for us!

I made Aliyah from Uruguay in 2003 and worked as a Project Manager in the Telecommunications Engineering and Product Development fields. Some years later I decided to reinvent myself and become an entrepreneur. This is why I joined TheHive Ashdod Start-up Accelerator program which provided me with the tools to become a successful entrepreneur by introducing me to the Israeli Startup ecosystem and connected me to the relevant networks in Israel.
I’m currently the CEO of Snappers, a live stream on-demand service that allows bloggers, freelance journalists, influencers, and the general public to order a live video from people in a specific location or event and broadcast it in real-time. Additionally, I became an Android Developer after graduating from the program.
My tip for a future participant of TheHive: “Be flexible. The concept of your project will constantly change throughout the program and this is a very good thing. This should happen

I am very grateful to Gvahim for exposing me to this opportunity that has landed me my job. I graduated from university and then began Ulpan. I knew that I needed to enter the workforce as a new Olah with limited job experience and realized I needed Gvahim’s help to find a job in Israel.
My most important intakes from the four HR consulting sessions are that I found the assistance I needed to tailor my CV and what to look for in a contract. For me, these are the most valuable aspects of the program.
With Gvahim’s guidance, I felt more confident, and they coached me to create my personal pitch. The mock interviews were beneficial in giving me confidence and helped me understand the interview structure. Thankfully for me, it also led to a job offer!
I used the Gvahim Network platform for networking, and my mentor who interviewed me in the mock interviews transferred my CV to my new workplace. Thank you so much!

Gvahim program revealed to me the hidden dynamics that a job interview has in the Israeli job market. I made my first contact with Gvahim in Argentina when I decided to do the Aliyah. At that time I went through a first program that helped me understand the differences between the Argentine structure of a CV and the Israeli CV. Also being in Argentina I was able to understand the different possible positions I could aspire to in the Israeli market according to my experience and background… I arrived in Israel in November 2020, in December I began the local training. During the month of training with Gvahim’s team I could clearly understand the many facets that needs to be considered to obtain a first job in Israel. This facets included the proper way of using linkedin and Gvahim platform, how to make the right CV for the right position but pricipally and most important I was able to clarify how to face the challeges that an interview with a recruter has. I am really thanksfull to Gvahim for helping me to find my first job as an account manager in Israel.

I made Aliyah in July of 2019 from the United States, where I spent my entire professional career in Residential Real Estate. After 3 months of sending hundreds of CVs, I realized that I was missing something and went to a Gvahim information session led by Denise Dalva and joined the program.
The Gvahim sessions were informative and helpful in terms of teaching me systematic CV drafting, networking, and interview techniques. I decided to take a break from applying to jobs outside my field and focus on recreating my real estate career but a month after starting with ReMax, COVID-19 shutdowns hindered any potential I had for creating a financially stable real estate business. I got back in touch with Denise and told her that I was going back to sending out my CV. I got an email from Gvahim detailing a position that they felt would be absolutely perfect for me. I sent my CV in and received a call two days later to schedule an interview. After 3 rounds of interviews, I was offered the position.
I cannot express enough gratitude and support for this program. I know that if I am ever back in the job market, I can count on Denise and Gvahim to help me.

I want to acknowledge and thank Revital Rauchwerger for developing and teaching the Gvahim GEC Five Week Business Acceleration Program. This program is outstanding. The quality of
Revital’s lectures, mentorship, materials, discussions, case studies and responses to sometimes
complex questions from any number of sectors, is noteworthy and deserves to be recognized.
With respect, my advice to anyone serious about building a startup from concept to VC: Take
advantage of this amazing opportunity to join any business of the programs Revital offers,
because you will gain years of knowledge and experience and save yourself many aggravations
and wasted time. The program well exceeded my expectations and in all honesty was an
amazing opportunity as well as excellent value – for a relatively minimal investment. Warning:
Once you’ve gone through the Business Acceleration Program, you’ll want to take additional
courses… because you’ll be hooked.

There are simply no words to adequately describe our fantastic experience at Gvahim’s accelerator program.
We were privileged to enjoy the exclusive benefits of the program including lectures and one-on-one sessions with top experts (some of them internationally renowned) in all fields required to set up successfully a start-up, private mentoring, honing very critical skills, pushing us continually to further improve and clarify our vision/strategy, our written materials and our presentation skills. And all of this in the friendliest of professional environments at Gvahim.
And last but not least, a specific note on its Director, Revital Rauchwerger, is overdue. Revital is so much more than your typical head of program; she took a very personal interest in our project, coaching and assisting us by bringing to bear the wealth of her expertise and experience, always with her charming smile, limitless, 24/6, with all her energy. She has a very special place in our hearts.

How did I find my job? I arrived in Israel fresh out of grad school with an engineering degree in my hand and a dream in my heart.
After my first few months in Israel searching for a job with no luck, I heard about Gvahim’s new program in Jerusalem and decided to give it a try.
At Gvahim I fine-tuned my résumé and my mentor prepared me for interviews. Soon enough I had been invited to a few interviews and ended up receiving a job offer from Apple.
Gvahim helped me put my best foot forward and when I did, I discovered that Israelis value the talent and skills Olim bring to the table, but also their enthusiasm and spirit.

Super recommended! I was in the previous period and for sure it took us to a superior level.
If you want to know how it was, contact me, highly recommended!

Gvahim gave me the right direction exactly when I needed it. Their amazing, talented and dedicated team gave me the push I very much needed as a young entrepreneur that came straight out of college, and I couldn’t be happier to have joined their family! Thanks, Gvahim, especially, Revital!!!!

I highly recommend the Gvahim Entrepreneurship Center to the next cohort of fellow entrepreneurs.
After over a decade in the USA, my network in Israel was limited – until I started the GEC pre-seed program under the leadership of Revital Rauchwerger.
Revital brought together a great collection of entrepreneurs, providing networking and mentoring opportunities.
Revital also invited presenters to guide us in the basics of establishing a new business endeavor.
After the program, GEC serves as a hub to keep connecting graduates with opportunities. In summary, the return on time invested in the program is tremendous.

I am a new immigrant from France, already in Israel for some years. I have always been active and I never really had to look for a job. When the Corona period arrived, I was working as a project manager in the field of tourism and was laid off in mid-March.
I saw a post on Facebook by Gvahim about their upcoming Career Program session in Jerusalem. When you have been an Olah for a few years, it is not easy to ask for help and to be part of a support program. But, you have to know how to catch this kind of opportunity.
The big advantage of Gvahim’s program is that it provides you with a framework with which to surround yourself. The group sessions allowed me to stop and sort out all the information we heard on the subject of “job search in Israel”. The four hours of personalized sessions with an HR consultant provided me with a new opinion regarding my career. She allowed me to keep a positive glance on my skills and potential.
During the training, I had various job interviews, for positions that I had found via Facebook or via a Placement agency that I had contacted in parallel to the Gvahim program. Denise Dalva, the Project Manager at the Jerusalem Career Program, and my Gvahim HR consultant accompanied me from A to Z.
I sent my CV to one of the leading high-tech companies in Jerusalem. Throughout the process which was long, I received all the support of the Gvahim staff. They contacted the HR of the company to boost my application. I got the job as Marketing Coordinator at OrCam, an excellent company in Jerusalem and Gvahim has a big part in it.
