On the morning of August 12th, TheHive Ashdod entrepreneurs gathered physically at our home base in Ashdod (Kivunim Youth Center) to celebrate the ending of the program and get the final and most substantial exposure of their startup. The graduating startups are active in domains such as SportsTech, eCommerce, ConTech, EdTech, HRtech, homeland security, cyber, pharma, consumer products and automation.
This was our first ever Virtual Demo Day, with an entirely online audience of 160+ visitors in the event arena. We ran the event via the EventPlace platform (watch the whole event here).
The winners were selected by three judges from leading Venture Capital funds.
1st place winner- Maxim Levin. Oleh Chadash from Russia, made Aliyah in 2018 from Moscow.
Only 28 years old, Maxim has already amassed 9 years of programming experience and 5 years in managing companies. He established his current startup and previous company with the same Co-Founder. BuildBen, Maxim’s current startup, is a software development automation and performance booster. BuildBen employs remote workers, has paying customers and is happily situated in Ashdod. The fact that his Ulpan was delayed due to COVID-19, didn’t stop him from attaining a good level of Hebrew. Still, he prefers English for business talks.
2nd place winner- Alex Mazisyuk. Oleh Vatik from Belarus, currently lives in Rishon Le-Zion.
35 years old, Alex is highly experienced in data security, hence the field of his startup. Alex has a cybersecurity startup called Cybrid, which is a SaaS platform for enterprises and SMBs. Cybrid has a strong team of professionals and is only one step away from launching its MVP.
